MUSUBI's Concept:
MUSUBI originates from the language of Shinto gods(Kami).
"MUSUBI【産霊】," also known as "むすひ" in ancient times, refers to the mystical and profound power that creates and nurtures all things.
1. MUSUBI : Connecting People
We bring together a diverse group of specialists in the five senses. Through collaborations with artists specialized in each sense, we create harmony among people who enjoy these sensory experiences.
・Establishing connections with participants.
・Creating collaborations with various artists specialized in the five senses.
2 . MUSUBI : Engaging the Five Senses: Through singing sounds (auditory sense), natural visuals (visual sense), aroma candles, etc. (olfactory sense), healthy cuisine (gustatory sense), and exercises involving skin sensations like stretching and massage (tactile sense), we enhance the bonds of the five senses, promoting harmony between mind and body.
3.Emphasizing the Vital MUSUBI Sense for Japanese:
This crucial MUSUBI sense is the feeling of being able to "live safely in nature" regardless of gender, age, or background.
In Japan's oldest Shinto narrative, the "Kojiki," the first three gods are as follows:
1)Amenominakanushi-no-kami (天之御中主神)
2)Takamimusubi-no-kami (高御産巣日神)
3)Kamimusubi-no-kami (神産巣日神)
These three pillars of divinity are known as the "Zoka-San-shin " (造化三神) and hold great significance in Japanese beliefs.
They are gods of a higher generation than Amaterasu Omikami(Sun’s Kami) and Izanagi, considered to be fundamental entities of the universe, even though they lack specific stories. The names of these gods, the second and third in the narrative, include the word "むすぶMUSUBU/
むすひMUSUHI" , which suggests family connections. The terms "Musuko" (son) and "Musume" (daughter) also carry similar meanings, representing words born from the connection between parents.
Japanese people find a sense of security and inner peace in the belief that they are all interconnected. This feeling of being protected unconsciously stems from the concept of "living safely in nature," which applies to anyone, whether man or woman, adult or child.
Ultimately, this concept is embodied in our activities, where we create events that heal the senses, forge connections between people, and promote harmony between mind and body through 5 senses (visual, auditory, olfactory, gustatory, and tactile) experiences.
